So hilarious! Bart, Maggie, the girl, Marg, and Homer at their best!

The beginning is hilarious. When the movie goes on, I lost interest because It really wasn't going anywhere that was exciting by any means. Everyone knew it was going to have a happy ending, it's The Simpsons. In the end, I'd rather just watch the show.

Some moments with Bart were unfunny, but I'm glad they didn't try to make Marge funny like they have been trying to do (unsuccessfully) lately. How long have they been sitting on that Spider Pig gem? Is it too hard to transfer the quality of this movie into the weekly episodes?

I know alot of die hard Simpsons fans that didn't think it was all that great. HOWEVER, I know many who did, and more importantly, non-die hard Simpsons fans who suddenly took an interest in the show after this film. Its IMO about as close as the Simpsons have gotten to their vintage stuff in quite some time. Was VERY pleased with it.

Decent movie... not that funny... yet I enjoyed watching it for some strange reason I can't recall... I guess I just love the simpson character.. but it's definitely not that impressive I did find myself borred near the end of the movie... needs improvement.

I saw this movie on DVD and hated it. It was funny in some parts but everything else was stupid. The plot was dumb and wish I never wasted 1 1/2 hours watching this movie.

If you ever enjoyed the simpsons on TV this is a must see. The Simpson's finally get to do more on the BIG screen than they ever did on TV.

It was so boring I had to fake laugh cause my friend already saw it. The shows are much better than that movie. I don't understand how someone can give it a 10/10! My friend loved it! He said it was better than the shows, he fell on the floor for the first five minutes. I hated it. Terrible, if you like movies with no good plot and not one funny joke, this movie is for you. If they are making a sequel, I think I will not even look at the trailers on tv. This movie deserves a 4/10.

I thought it was hilarious. It was so funny when hommer held up the pig to the roof and started singing " Spider pi spider pig does whatever a spider pig does."

Just left me with a whole bunch of questions; Why did it take this long to make the movie? How come they didn't bother to make the plot and subplot stronger? What the hell was up with the horrible song during the closing credits (Springfield Doesn't Have an Anthem? ) Songs in Simpsons stuff used to be so much better than that.

Although there were some laughs available in this movie, I felt that it was not worth the money or time. It felt like an overly long episode. Homer said it best himself at the start of the movie when he ranted at the movie crowd for paying for something that they could watch at home for free.

The Simpson's movie couldn't have been like the TV show - a two hour version of the longest running cartoon on television would be a let down on the part of the brilliant writers and creators of an icon of our generation. That said, the Simpson's movie proved that the writer's and director's can still live up to their creative genius after 18 years. The underlying plot of the cartoon is brought to the big screen with poignant drama and emotion. Less a hysterical look at the drawbacks of our self-centered society, and more a dramatic look at the nature of the 'nuclear' american family, this movie proves yet again that the Simpson's writers and creators are visionary. Well done. The only complaint I have with regards to this movie, is how many of my fellow Simpson's compatriots missed the point and wish that it had been 'funnier'. Grow up.
