The Man in the Iron Mask Movie Reviews

I think this all-star cast was let down by the script. I especially liked Irons, Depardieu, and Byrne in their musketeer roles, but we only saw glimpses of DiCaprio's talent, particularly in his scenes as the evil King Louis. His second role as Phillipe is pretty much a throw away character. The plot also falls down in the "climax" which I found contrived. Don't get me wrong, I still liked the movie, but it could have been a great movie and didn't quite make it.

Great storyline to this movie. A must see! Leonardo is excellent in his duel role. The plot was well written and the acting put it over the top.
