Overall an entertaining movie thanks to McConaughy and Zahn. I would like to see more of the Dirt Pitt series made into movies if these guys were together again. They played off of each other quite well making this a fun action comedy. Unfortunately the chemistry of McConaughy and Cruz was just okay. The plot itself served its purpose and is typical of Clive Cusslar novels.

The show is a great action flick. Half-decent and above average in the humor department. The star studded cast does an excellent job the film is kind of underrated but hey what are you gonna do eh? Not all films can receive critical and financial acclaim like films like Avatar can. Check it out worth getting for 5 bucks at the bargain bin which is where I got it.

I really liked that movie, I enjoyed it and I will want to see it again. It's a comedy action so, nothing very serious is some part of the movie. You going to laugh for sure.

A fun movie... as most action adventure, treasure hunting movies go! Matthew McConaughey is very likeable but Penelope Cruz was not so believable. Steve Zahn stole the show! Filmed in Morrocco... absolutely stunning!

Very unreal movie, doesnt have a good plot. It doesnt look like a cheap movie either, I really thought it would be worth watching but I was wrong. Wait for DVD. It cannot be compared with Indiana Jones.

An Indiana Jones type story. Fast paced and action packed. I enjoyed it emencesly. I especially appreciated the absence of foul language, gory violence and explicit sex. Very entertaining!

Don't believe the negative hype - this movie isn't horrible. I'm guessing certain reviewers are simply jealous of the leads Matthew and Penelope. The movie is your typical adventure fair with no surprises but for an afternoon movie romp, it does the job. Think National Treaure but with better acting and less cheesey dialogue.

It wasn't a bad movie. I have definitely seen much worse. It was very violent though. More than I had expected. Not good for children. It had a good idea but was a little all over the place, if you know what I mean.

This movie was... ok. It was good in the sense that it followed all the rules of your typical action/adventure, where you have your hero, your hero's funny sidekick, the villain, and of course the lovely and exotic object of our hero's affection. But for that very reason, the fact that is was predictable and too mainstream, is why I think it could have been better. So few writers dare to go off the beaten path. But as far as your typical action movie goes, it was ok/.

Wow! My knowledge of Clive Cussler was the TV Series the Sea Hunters on History and NUMA. DidnÂ’t know he had this Indiana Jones type character happening. Interesting to see the NUMA stuff a big part of it. I like how the heros make a couple of noble choices in the movie that your average movie would go in a different direction. ItÂ’s an entertaining couple of hours but by the end it started to be a bit far fetched and a bit much, pulling out all the stops. Penelope is enjoyable.

This movie was just what my rating stated so, so. It is money better spent on the DVD and watch it at home. As always, the popcorn is the best thing about the movies... except for the price of it. This movie should have included the popcorn.

Hello! I'll give this movie a 7 for a few reasons. First of all, this movie is a lot more entertaining than realistic, don't expect it to make much sense. Also, even though there were a few boring points in the movie, Steve Zahn's character was a huge comic relief. I reccomend you go see it if you want to be entertained.

For you guys out there who like lots of action go see this movie. The movie has lots of action but also has a good story. I really like watching the fighting towards the end of the movie once McConaghey and Cruz found the boat and treasure. Although very unrealistic, it was fun to watch.
