This movie is extremely depressing, you just feel weird and guilty after watching it. It's a very disturbing movie and I would only recommend it to people who like dark movies.

This film I had found rather tense and dramatic psycho-thriller that mostly takes place in a single day. Alexandra's Project was to me considered to be a dense and comfonting film that savaagely explored the notions of sex within a marriage. The film to me also I had found to be more of a feminist film than anti-feminist, but mainly about inciting discussion.

Schocking. But schocking in a good way. It's a real wake-up call to the male population. Treat your women right or... Alexandra has the courage and the morbidity to push it really far. I think its incredible that the writer is a men. He succed to let the feminine psyche talk and act.

It's a good movie if you want to be affected. Alexandra made me angry and if you're expected to feel any sympathy for her, there was none from me. However, it's not a good movie and my only recommendation is don't see it.

It's unfortunate that people don't seem to catch essence of good movies. As if Hollywood movies are the only things that can appeal younger crowd. It's a movie with deep thoughts and psychological thriller with unknown plots waiting to happen. It's a gem from Australia and of course, not a typical Hollywood ending. In the same genre, 21 Grams has good plots and twists too. Sit and listen and appreciate, plots to happen.

This is one of the most troubling movies I've ever seen. I waited 3 days before writting this comment and I'm still not sure what to think of this movie. One thing for sure it makes husband think twice before cheating on their wifes... A very different movie.

A film about a woman who tells her husband that he has been treating her like a sex object and therefore he will be punished. The beauty of it all is the way that she tells him. At the end I felt sorry for the husband... considering that he seemed to believe there was nothing wrong in the way he handled the relationship. I found Alexandra's sadism to be frightning, yet at the same time entertaining. Helen Buday looks sexy and alive one second, the next she looks haggard and wrinkly... very nicely done. I think this film is relevant because in today's society, we have become acustomed to using each other as objects... especially in the work place. One should be careful not to take that kind of attitude into one's family.

This movie really sucks. The most over rated movie in a long time. Don't go see it. It's long, useless, and totally unrealistic. If I could, I would give it a zero. I left the theatre disgusted and absolutely bored.

The pacing was slow for those with short attention spans. It was interesting, but it could have easily been a short film. It was a nice change of pace from the usual hollywood flick, and quite heavy in topic.

Wild, wild film. I'm still a bit in shock. I think it's worth seeing simply for how it makes you look at your life, especially if you're married. How you need to be real and honest with the people you love. The film was very well done. What I came away with was pity for the characters and a renewed gratitude for my own marriage.

Excellent movie, masterfully written and directed. It can be interpreted in different ways and the viewer can take many things out of it. The main theme of the movie that striked me was what people think other's think about them by misinterpreting their actions, and then fail or neglect to confront them but rather act violently and destructively about it. I also see the husband as being the protagonist rather than the wife and the wife being largely responsible for the destruction of their mariage.

A mysoginistic point of view of marriage that plays up the paranoia of some (Australian) men by making the film's female character go to extreme lengths to punish her happy-go-lucky hubby with a sado-masochistic doomsday scenario. Is this movie meant to terrify complacent husbands into suspecting their quiet wives, while seemingly happy toiling away in the kitchen, are plotting too obliterate family life as they know it? Maybe in Australia where men are men and women are Sheilaghs, but lets hope that here in North America we have accepted the feminist ideas brought forth in the 60s and 70s and moved on. Primitive and very paranoid.

This is a well-constructed film that could have been a better movie than it was. What I missed was any emotional connection to either character, as they were too stereotypically drawn. The leads Sweet and Buday are both tremendous actors and most of the best moments are due to their work and not to the script. Although Sweet's resemblance to William Shatner is a little disconcerting! The actors made this movie for me. As for De Heer, I think in a film treating such a sensitive topic as marital instability, we should have more to keep our interest than toe-cringing shock moments and a kind of "how far will she go" suspense.

Excellent movie. Makes you realize that a good film does not have to rely simply on special effects, big stars and enormus budget: a very good script does the thing!

One of the most unique films I've seen in ages, "Alexandra's Project" is a harsh look at a wife's pent-up aggression and bitterness, all aimed mercilessly at her husband. Without spoiling the plot, I must say that the film is breathtakingly directed, with gorgeous effects as a result of brilliant lighting and beautiful angles, bringing the mundane and everyday new meaning.
