Well it started of a huge snore-fest, then for about 20-25 minutes I was terrified but then it turned out like the other one. Was kinda nice to be scared for once.

This movie gave me chills from the start... not something to watch by yourself. Good follow up... but the ending was odd as it said the aunt and kid were never found... the aunt was shot by the police in the first movie.

A good tie in to the first Paranormal Activity film. This one answered some questions and gave the audience more to think about. With a bit more to offer than part one, this film was well received by most.

I loved this movie! If you liked the first one, than you will love this one. I thought it was more intense than the first one, and I really like how they tied the 2 movies together. You really don't need "guts & gore" for a good horror movie to work - just a good script, good acting, lots of suspense, a few really great tricks and you got yourself a spine chilling good time!

Very well done. What I liked the most is the way it was linked to the first one, very original this transition. Do yourself a favor, wait for the dvd, don't go to the theater. The reason is some pesky teens ruined the movie yelling and talking out loud, so the scary mood was killed. At home, midnight, no lights, and a surround system will do the trick way better.

Paranormal Activity 2 didn't have me quite as scared as PA 1... I found there was a lot of anticipation, a lot of sitting around waiting for soemthing to happen throughout numberous shots of the couples home, pool, front door, etc. There were parts that were completely unexpected and scary though. The insight inot the character's pasts is a bonus and gives the storyline that little something extra. I'm thinking a PA 3 could easily be made as a spin off, continuation or even prequal to PA 1 and PA 2.

This was honestly one of the worst movies I've seen in my life. They just recycled all of the scare tactics from the first movie and it completely lost it's effect. Nothing happens for at least 45 minutes, and then when it gets going it still progresses at a ridiculously slow pace. I took a girl to see this movie and it was probably the worst possible choice in the world, sitting in the dark and silence just staring at surveillance camera feed where nothing is happening is just flat out boring, this movie is not an entertaining experience. It also makes absolutely no sense that someone always just happens to be carrying around the video camera with them just to film useless dialogue."I have to go speak to Katie... Better bring this video camera and record the whole thing!" This movie is just a ridiculous waste of time, it's not scary, it's not clever, it doesn't even make sense. Avoid at ALL costs.

This movie is crapy, but just a little better then the first one because this movie made be jump out of my seat only once. Look at the review I wrote for PN1 because it's the just same thing and same actions going on. The movie is not scary at all and your hearing that from a 12 YEAR OLD. BTW you need to watch the first one to know exactly whats going on because it talk about what happened before PN1. If your wondering whats PN1, PN is paranormal activity 1...

If you've watched the first one, much of the shock value won't be effective in this sequel/prequel.

I thought it was pretty good - I'm surprised at the low scores. I thought it was better than the first one (best to see it without reading about it) I like how it tied into the first one, as a prequel. I'm guessing there may be a #3 - from when the girls are little. I prefer surprise thrills over blood and guts.

There was one part that made me jump, otherwise I was yawning and laughing throughout. I really wanted to like it, I really tried!! Wait until it is in the knock off bin at a department store, it should be there sooner rather than later.

PA2 is better than the first in fright and jumpiness. PA1 was better in the way that Micah and Katie experimented nad such, ex. Putting powder on the ground to see the footprints... PA2 was VERY slow in the beginning, just like the first movie. Did NOT like how the second part was a build-up to the first part. Kristie, Katie's sister was a horrible actress, didn't pull off being possessed well AT ALL. On average, I liked the first movie better, but not by much. Please don't make a sequel about Hunter now... it's bad enough that there's 2 Paranormal Activity movies. I was not scared, I found it quite comical really, but, to each their own. I advise you not to spen your money, unless you like big theater sounds, just wait until it goes to the cheap theaters or rent it when it comes out.

It's worth a 6/10 because it's a little better than the previous one, but I wouldn't watch it again and I don't recommend this movie for those, like me, who are fans of horror and scary movies. Paranormal Activity is not scary. I didn't feel anything. Most of the scenes were very predictable and it's a movie that have long periods of silence, and because of that it can be quite distracting if someone who's sitting near you have a heavy breathing or move too much while sitting on the chair.

This movie scared the pants off me! Very surprising scenes, scary-ass plot and made me scream at various intervals... which is odd, as I NEVER scream at scary movies. The only thing that makes this movie a bit upsetting is that the ending of this one doesn't quite line up with the ending of the first one, though I think it was considerably well done otherwise. Unfortunately for them, they have no excuse not to make another one. They can't have funding problems (all they need are home video quality cameras) and people love these movies. I definitely recommend it.

The first hour nothing basicly happens it the last 20 minutes that everything goes down. It was kool how they interpreted the first movie into it and how it began but as I saw the first one I didn't like it. People kept saying how good this one was and really for me this was the same. The first one was way better.

This Movie sucked to say the least. Not Scary, yes made me jump a few times but very predictable. Very stupid seeing as this is all fake anyways, go see one that is based a true story at least. I liked the first one way better because it was actually freaky, this one... stupid, I laughed a few times even!

I may have enjoyed it more if it hadn't been for all the teenagers giggling nervously or outright laughing throughout the movie... unfortunately any suspense I might have felt was taken away by their childish antics. I recommend waiting till it comes out on DVD and watch from your home where you can watch it in peace!

As the crazy horror affectionado, can only say that I really liked both parts and the way the first one masterfully incorporated into this part, makes you to wish for more. Basically it almost feels like one film not two. Just a little advice:please, watch the first one and only after that see the second. Otherwise you'll not be able to follow the story line, which makes peeople to be dissapointed and to leave low ratings.

Definitely worth seeing... a really good movie... if you like being bored to death. I will not be having any nightmares tonight... All and all they were 4 collective reactions... all of them being laughs of how ridiculous the movie was. I don't even think this movie should have 1 out of 10... you MUST avoid this movie at any cost... don't pay for it, don't watch it, don't even think about it... Thats all I've got to say. But thats just my opinion... you might like it, if you don't mind a LOT of repetition and some "Who is Micha?!? " and "Is that supposed to be real? " reaction. I agree with the exlax guy - probably a way better experience... unless you're looking to get out of the horrow movie laughing to death, in which case it could probably be a sad ending...
