I don't mind chick flicks but this was hard to watch. Story just wasn't very interesting.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Great cast, but... Eww. Not funny, not good at all.

This is a real winner! I saw it and just loved the great acting and general humour that was written into a few scenes, and others that were better left to the dark recesses of some paparazzis sexual fantasies :) Fun, but better without the kids, (well, the costar is now a mother of twins, and the star is, having a wild time seeking a sweetheart? , so ive heard in the gossip pages :)) Keep trying, , my humble opinion, a solid 7 (or 6.9 but it rounds up)

Very enjoyable, funnier then expected, great chemistry between the actors.

I just saw this for free and wish I didn't bother. It's kind of stupid. Looks like they spent way too much on actors, mostly the unfunny ones.

My friend had always recommended this movie long before. I took no notice of that until the day I had no choice but to watch it and I should say' I should have watched it then and again. Go get good laugh!!!

This is the kind of movie you watch when you don't feel like thinking too hard and just sit back, relax and have a few laughs...

I really enjoyed this movie. John Cusack, Zeta-Jones, Roberts and Crystal have great dynamics. A feel good movie that's nice to curl up with when you need some cheering up!

Not one of Julia's nor Catherine's best films. Entertaining and light-hearted, worth a rental.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.]
I went to see America's Sweethearts as I am a BIG fan of John Cusack (all the way back to 'Better Off Dead') The movie in itself was not in any way unique, heart-stopping, wonderous, artistic, etc... However, John was fantastic! And the part of Julia Roberts smoking a cigarette behind her sisters back at the end of the movie was pretty much the funniest part of the movie...

Considering that most would say "chick flick", that is insulting to females. I was bored to tears. Great lineup of stars for the most part but weak content.

The only reason you should consider watching this movie is to see Julia Roberts. The story line needs a lot of help!

O MY GOSH, That was an AWESOME movie. I absolutly LOVED that movie. My favourite character was Julia Roberts. I thought she was amazing in that movie. I also liked her sister (Catherine Zeta-Jones) She was also amazing. If you haven't seen this movie, it is totally, a must-see movie!!! Trust me!

I really like Julia Roberts. It's the only reason I saw the movie. But... this wasn't very good. Not much of a story line. Disappointing.

While this movie had a lot going for it, with Julia Roberts and John Cusack, it was a disappointment, the chemistry wasn't there and the story was a little lame. There was however a few good laughs from Billy Crystal.

America's Sweetheart What can I say? I love Julia Roberts however, not in this movie. With the exeption of a few funny moments compliments of Billy Crystal this movie was a disapointment.

If you're in the mood for a light-hearted satire, then this is the movie for you. Not a lot of thought provoking ideas, but the movie basically mocks the absurdity of Hollywood, so what can you expect? Fun but not profound.

America's Sweethearts was the awesomest movie in the world. This movie I give 4 stars. Jinah.

I thought the movie, although it was a little predictable, was very light, cute, and entertaining. A "feel good" movie!

I really enjoyed this movie. Light, but well made. Great acting on the part of Julia Roberts and Katherine Zeta-Jones and the others as well. Not pretentious but funny. Good entertainment.

The movie was pretty good. It was kind of confusing at first, but after thinking about it over time, it made more sense. All the actors did a great job and they made the movie worthwhile.

A Great Movie! The people I watched it with said it was great. It had some really funny parts, especially Billy Crystal and the dog.

Is John Cusack having money problems? Why would he do this after making the perfect Say Anything, the hilarious Grosse Pointe Blank, and the truthful High Fidelity? Hoping Serendipity is much better.

HORROR, HORROR, HORROR -- THIS MOVIE MUST BE TAKEN OFF THE BIG SCREEN! I am a huge fan of Julia Roberts and John Cusack, but I'm really trying to bury this film into a dark area of my subconscious. I understand that if you are a fan, then you must view it eventually; however, I strongly recommend that you wait until it makes it into the old rentals section of your video store.

Excellent movie! Billy had a hand in writing the script so the laugh lines are great! Definitely one to go and see.

It was a decent movie. I wouldn't say that it was worth full price, but worth seeing on Tuesday or on a matinee. Julia Roberts can't act fat, and I found insulting what the director considers to be fat.
